what to eat: rise at the marina

Marina Bay Sands is so expansive that one cannot cover all areas in one day. Not even two, I think. But we didn’t even try so I don’t know for sure.

Buffet breakfast is served at RISE. There are two more dining areas, SweetSpot at Tower 3 and FUSE at Tower 2. Since we were checked in at Tower 1, it was only natural for us to have our meals in the same building.

RISE

The Rise breakfast buffet has 6 state-of-the-art food stations. There are fresh fruits, savory salads, pastries and waffles, salmon as well as congee and omelet.

Buffet Breakfast Day 1

This was breakfast for us during Day 1. It may seem a lot but they were just a little bit of everything.

Salmon with greens

The best were those veal sausages and this salmon with greens. I just couldn’t get enough of this that I was wishing and hoping they’d still serve it the next day. Good thing they did. That actually made my day.

Bread Basket

I am a bread lover. I could live on bread alone. I can have bread for weeks and weeks on end without getting tired of it. In fact, I can live without rice but without bread, I’d die a lonely death.

It was truly a feast during breakfast of Day 1 that on Day 2, self-control took over me.

Cereals

A bowl of cereals for me and my little girl during Day 2.

Berries and yogurt

And for dessert, I had fresh berries with yogurt. Day 2 breakfast was totally different from Day 1. But I still had the salmon which I really couldn’t get enough of. Writing this, I kinda miss having breakfast at RISE.
